Zach leads private markets investments, syndicating deals to a group of co-investors, with a particular emphasis on investments into early-stage startups, special situations, and secondaries.
He also manages the Dunthorpe Partnership, investing in public equities for friends and family. Its approach is modeled on the Buffett Partnerships.
Zach advises a small number of companies & founders across all aspects of company building. His work spans operational advisory, executive coaching, and fundraising.
Zach previously cofounded Ensemble, an AI model compression company, which was sold to Cloudflare in 2026. He holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
